Eric Jenkins sits on the right in the above photo. Eric is commonly referred to as "Capt'n" by his other half sitting on the left. Eric has been and still is an avid catfisherman, starting this love affair with catfish in 1986. While Catfishing is his life's desire and drive, he has also been able to experience catching a wide variety of fish both fresh water and salt water. Eric's main concentration of fishing has been in Santee, South Carolina with catfishing on Lake Marion as well as Lake Moultrie. Eric has fished surrounding lakes in both North and South Carolinas. Eric enjoys the excitment and competitveness of tournament fishing. All the while, he holds dear the friends and companions he has aquired on his fishing adventures. Eric's personal best in Catfishing is a 56 pound Arkansas Blue.

Marya Maloy sits on the left in the above photo. Marya is commonly known as "Eric's Woman". Marya has been fishing on Lake Norman, Denver, North Carolina, the majority of her life catching bream, catfish, white perch and an occasional bass. Marya's first experience catching Big Cats came in 1990 on Lake Moultrie in Santee, South Carolina. Marya caught her personal best on her first trip to Santee, landing a 45 pound Arkansas Blue. Marya truly enjoys "perch jerking". Since joining forces with Eric in 2008, Marya has had the grand experience of tournament fishing. Marya cherishes the many new friendships she has formed with her fellow catfishermen/women.
We are avid cat fishing fanatics. Team Hook, Line and Sinker is proud of what we have achieved since joining forces in 2008. Our passion for cat fishing continues to grow each and every day. We practice catfish conservation with the CPR (Catch, Photograph and Release) method.

                                             Team History & Comments

Brothers JD & Russell Trammell Have been competing in Carolina Catmen Tournaments since 2005. Very few tournaments did they ever miss during their first 4 years of Catman Tournaments. Consistency is their forte with only 2 wins and a long stack of top 5 finishes. In 2007 they won the big fish of the year award for the Carolina Catmen and still hold the title for the biggest fish weighed in during a Carolina Catman Tournament , a monster 68 lb Blue on the Cooper River. Team Cattastrophe has qualified for the last 4 Cabela’s King Kat Classic. They entered in the King Kat Classic in 2006, 2008, & 2009. In the 2009 King Kat Classic on Pick wick / Wilson AL they finished 19th out of 121 teams putting them 1st out of the money. They also have fished in other SC tournament series including the Pee Dee Cat masters & Catawba Catfish Club. These boys love to fish but also love to compete pitting themselves against the best SC has to offer in cat fishing when ever & where ever they can. JD’s son Jay Bird rounds out the team and is a big part of their volunteer work with disabled kids going fishing & Wheelin Sportsman. At the end of the 2009 Carolina Catman season Directors Gary Case & Ronnie Stancil asked JD & Russell to take over the series. 2010 will be the first season under the direction of JD & Russell Trammell. With a lot more on their plate lets see if they can still be a consistent front runner in tournaments.

Team History & Comments

Team River Cats James Matherly is the director of the Pee Dee Cat masters . The Pee Dee Cat masters is a well put on tournament series held mainly on the Pee Dee river system . James has had many good finishes during Catmen Tournaments even a 1st place during the 2008 Championship. In 2008 James also won the big fish of the year award. To be a river man and know a lot about wrangling big Flatheads out of the brush pile James is also right at home drifting for monster Blues in the lakes. James loves fishing tournaments but I believe he loves the weigh-ins most of all, he seems so exited , cheering on all teams that weigh -in. James has had many partners in the past but this season is teaming up with Keith Windham & Dennis Matherly ( James’ Dad). Team River Cat will be gunning hard for the Carolina Catmen Points Championship. They claim its already theirs , well only time will tell.

Team History
Team Rebel Fish comprised of Wesley Noffz, Bruce Edmunds, & Conner Noffz (Wesley’s 5 yr old son) have all fished several different Catmen tournaments in the past years but not all together as a team. Also in the past have fished combinations of other tournament trails such as Cabela’s King Kat & Catawba Catfish Club. Wesley is well known through out the Carolina Catmen as a competitive threat on any water as well as a fine sportsman that’s very friendly. Wesley is also well know for his good luck charms, his children that he spends a lot of time with on the water. Bruce Edmunds is also well know to have good finishes in tournaments especially on Wateree, Monticello, & Murray. This season these two along with Wesley’s son Conner have teamed up to take on all comers in the Carolina Catmen Tournament Trail. It being their first season together it will be interesting to see how they put their know how & talent combined against the other teams. They are currently seeking sponsorship so keep an eye on this team to be near the top. Yes, When asked what is the biggest catfish Conner caught he replied a 152 lb channel, now at 5 years old I imagine to him it was 152lbs.
